Yes, we will have a lot of food passed around during our cocktail hour (5-6) and buffet-style eat-as-you-wish foods set up during the main event. We tasted all the food and enjoyed it. We hope you will, too. There’s a decent looking Chinese takeout place up the street if not.
-
White Chapel Projects is across Ocean Avenue from the beach. You can let us know if you think that counts as “on the beach.”
-
No. Sit where you like, but please get up and dance.
-
Yes, and we’re happy to share that it will feature wine and liquor, in addition to tap beer from local breweries. Please drink as much as you like and plan for getting home safely afterward.
-
As noted elsewhere, we’re looking for a beachy vibe—this is NOT a formal black-tie wedding. Linens, slacks, polos, flowy dresses, and anything creative. Come ready to dance.
-
The leader of the Ocean Avenue Stompers will DJ a disco/new-wave set during our cocktail hour, followed by nearly four hours of live music from the Stompers with some brief DJ’ed sets here and there to give the band set breaks.

We love living on the Jersey Shore in Eastern Monmouth County and we’re happy to support local businesses for this wedding of ours. Confections of a Rock Star will bake our cake and Harley Rose Floral will arrange our flowers. Both are in Asbury—check them out.
-
Yes, we’re thrilled that our friend Jordan is professionally photographing the wedding. We aren’t being strict about cell phone camera use—if snapping photos is your thing, go crazy. Just be sure to share them!
-
You’re the party.
-
Whenever you’re done. We won’t take offense. But please, help yourself to something from behind the bar before you go. You’re the party.
-
We did not book a hotel block to give guests coming from far off places the choice to stay wherever it makes the most sense for their needs. There is no shortage of lodging options in Monmouth County, but if you plan to stay overnight, be sure to book as soon as possible—this place is busy even in the off season.

Drink, eat, dance, repeat. If you’re feeling speech-y, it’s on you.
